Kochi Prefectural Makino Botanical Garden
Located near the summit of Mt. Godai, this is a comprehensive botanical garden, which is rare in Japan. Approximately 3,000 kinds of plants can be enjoyed here throughout the seasons.
An exhibit introduces the accomplishments of the world-renowned botanist, Dr. Tomitaro Makino, and there is also an interactive exhibit that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.
In addition to a shop selling original goods, visitors can enjoy a peaceful moment in the restaurant and cafe surrounded by greenery.
