* When a regular closing day falls on a national holiday, the observation deck will open on the holiday and close the following day.
* Both observation decks are closed during the end-of-year and New Year holidays (December 29 - 31 and January 2 - 3), and on building inspection days.

- Visitors can enjoy 360-degree panoramic views by walking around the perimeters of both the North and South Observation Decks. Views of the nearby group of towering skyscrapers to the northeast, in Nishi-Shinjuku, can only be enjoyed from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. The observation decks also offer views of TOKYO SKYTREE (to the northeast) and Mt. Fuji (to the west) on clear days.
