Taikodani Inari Shrine
If you look from central Tsuwano in the direction of the castle ruins, you can see around 1000 beautiful, vermillion torii gates lining the entrance to the shrine. At the far end of the tunnel of torii gates, the magnificent spectacle of the vermillion Taikodani Inari Srine awaits. This shrine is one of the Five Great Inari Shrines of Japan, and is worshiped as a shrine for fulfilling wishes, big or small. You can also view the beautiful townscape of Tsuwano from within the shrine grounds.
