Daishoin Temple

The temple was founded by Kobo Daishi in 806 on his return from China following gumonji-ho, a 100-day Buddhist training, atop Mt. Misen.
You can also experience praying, zazen meditation, sutra transcription, and vegetarian cooking at the temple.
