Awa Jurobe Yashiki (Puppet Theater and Museum)
Awa Ningyo Joruri is a Tokushima-based traditional puppet show in which the puppets are manipulated by three people (per puppet).
At Awa Jurobe Yashiki, visitors can not only enjoy daily performances of Awa Ningyo Joruri, but also exhibits of puppets, costumes and other materials, as well as learn about how the puppets are manipulated, and the different roles of performers.
